| Application | Explosion-protected electric motors are used in industrial plants with a potential explosive atmosphere containing inflammable fumes (i.e. chemical industry, oil refineries). These are three-phase asynchronous electric motors with shot-circuit rotor, according to the CENELEC EN 50014, EN 50018, EN 50019 (IEC 79-0, IEC 79-1). Motors are suitable for gas groups and temperature class in accordance with EEx d(e) IIC T4. |
